Popular concert venues
Denver’s auditoriums and theaters host performances by everyone from Top 40 icons to local alt-rock bands. You’ll have more than 30 concert spots to choose from in Colorado’s capital, but here are a few of the most acclaimed:
Fillmore Auditorium
Built in 1907, Fillmore Auditorium is now one of Denver’s most popular music venues and boasts the largest general admission area of any indoor concert space. This Capitol Hill destination has hosted artists from Marilyn Manson to Erykah Badu and holds a unique liquor license that lets guests over 21 and those under 21 stand together rather than being separated by age.

The Ogden Theatre
When The Ogden Theatre opened in 1919, it hosted organ recitals, dances, and vaudeville acts, including a magic performance by Harry Houdini. It then became a movie theatre before assuming its new identity as a contemporary/alternative rock concert space. Like the Fillmore, The Ogden is in Capitol Hill, and you’ll have to pay to park in nearby garages. Having a minibus drop you off could be a great alternative to paying for spaces for multiple cars.

Pepsi Center
If you want to go to a concert by a big name (like Cher, Miranda Lambert, or The Who kind of big), the Pepsi Center is your venue. The home of the Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Avalanche, the arena hosts 20,000-person shows when it’s not busy hosting games. If you don’t want to pay for parking, your charter bus can drop you off and pick you up in the rideshare area.

Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre
Easily the most famous venue in the Denver area, this naturally occurring outdoor amphitheatre is acclaimed throughout the U.S. for its excellent acoustics and stunning beauty. Take in music by artists like the Wu-Tang Clan, deadmau5, and Brantley Gilbert while watching the sun set behind the crimson hills.
